Our Parent Teacher Organization
Artesia Intermediate School is fortunate to have a dedicated Parent Teacher Organization. Our PTO helps us to build a school community where students know they can find support. The PTO helps us raise funds and provides our students with access to resources that benefit us all.
We can’t do it without you! We depend on people like you to help us achieve our goals. We generally hold meetings on the Thursday following each Artesia Public School Board meeting. Meetings begin at 4:00 p.m. and usually conclude within an hour.

See What We Do!
The Zia PTO helps us conduct fundraisers to earn money for equipment and events that our regular school budget cannot provide for. Each year the PTO has contributed towards the cost of purchasing physical education attire for our 6th graders and has provided drinks and snacks for every student during our state testing period in the spring. Our PTO also treated the teachers and staff to a new ice machine to replace our broken one in the teacher's lounge!
