The Artesia High School and Park Junior High School choir programs treated Artesia to an evening of some of the top rock and roll hits of the 1970s and '80s during their annual Bulldogs on Revue performance.

"Rock of Ages" saw the choir students cover tunes from the likes of Queen, Aerosmith, Chris Isaak, ELO, Journey and Fleetwood Mac, with group, duet and solo offerings that showed off their vocal talents while keeping the crowd dancing in their seats.

If you weren't able to catch one of the shows, or just want to relive the rock, visit ksvptv.com and find the performance under "APS Special Events."

After a triumphant return from the national convention and a little Halloween fun (pictured above), FFA members took to elementary classrooms around Artesia to continue their participation in the Ag in the Classroom program. Students read "The Great Pumpkin Smash" to fifth-graders from all five local elementaries, a book that introduces kids to the concepts of agricultural composting and engineering.
