Athletic event update due to weather

The Artesia Public Schools have CANCELED ALL CLASSES TODAY. Travel is dangerous and discouraged. Stay in and stay warm. We will see you tomorrow.

The Artesia Public Schools will be on a 2-HOUR DELAY today, Thursday, January 9th due to a forecast of increased freezing precipitation later this morning. We will continue to monitor the roads and will send updates as needed. Buses will run on a schedule that is 2 hours later than their normal pickup times.

As we prepare to return to school tomorrow, please have your students charge and update their computers if possible. We are excited to begin our second semester. #itsgreattobeabulldog #weareziaintermediate

Mrs. Key's Media Tech classes explored using AI prompts to help generate an image and a slogan for Red Ribbon Week. After researching and learning about all the negatives and dangers of vaping, she let them choose "say no to drugs" or "anti-vaping."
